Why 2015? There simply aren’t enough non-GMO and organic ingredients, and it takes time to partner with farmers to convert conventional farms. Once we obtain these ingredients, we need to make sure the nutrition and taste of the food are consistent with the high quality you expect from us.

Grown in the hot, humid climates of the Tropics and Mesoamerica, vanilla pods are the only edible fruit of the orchid flower. For centuries, farmers have pollinated the dedicated white flowers by hand to produce the cherished vanilla bean. After nine months, the green vanilla beans turn dark yellow, signaling the growers to harvest. Once they are heat-cured, vanilla beans blacken and reveal their distinct flavor and aroma.
